Job Description

The Admin and Finance Officer will handle day-to-day accounting operations while supporting administrative functions. The role requires strong practical accounting experience from transaction posting through closing, along with the ability to maintain organized and efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

  • Manage daily accounting activities including journal entries, payments, receipts, and petty cash
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Handle month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documents
  • Manage payables, receivables, and finance documentation
  • Support payroll coordination and maintain tax-related records
  • Assist in budget tracking and expense control

Administration

  • Maintain proper filing of financial and administrative documents (vouchers, invoices, contracts)
  • Oversee office administration activities and logistics coordination
  • Follow up on procurement and manage office supplies
  • Maintain basic asset records and inventory

Compliance & Coordination

  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and financial regulations
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and service providers when required

Job Requirements

Education

  • BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

Experience

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
  • Strong practical experience from transaction posting to closing

Skills & Competencies

  • Good understanding of financial recording, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
  • Strong Excel skills and financial reporting ability
  • Excellent organization and document management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Time management, adaptability, and analytical thinking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
