Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical machinery and production equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and minimize equipment downtime.
• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical components and systems.
• Monitor the performance and efficiency of electrical equipment and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth factory operations.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical reports, and equipment documentation.
• Support the implementation of energy-efficient practices and process optimization initiatives.
• Participate in machinery inspections and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure timely response to electrical emergencies and production-related issues.
• Assist in planning maintenance schedules to maximize equipment reliability and productivity.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment is mandatory.
• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance and production systems is highly preferred.

Technical Competencies

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and production machinery.
• Experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of motors, control panels, power distribution systems, and industrial electrical installations.
• Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial automation is an added advantage.
• Understanding of workplace health, safety, and industrial standards.

• Willingness to relocate and work in Afdera, Afar Region.
