Job Description
Christ Mission Church is seeking a reliable and service-oriented General Service Officer to support the effective management of church facilities, assets, logistics, and support staff. The position plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, proper maintenance of church properties, and coordination with internal teams and external service providers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and control church supplies, equipment, and fixed assets.
- Coordinate and follow up on building maintenance, repairs, and minor construction works.
- Handle transportation and logistics services to support church activities.
- Supervise support staff including cleaners, drivers, and security personnel.
- Liaise and coordinate with external service providers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure service operations are conducted efficiently and in line with church policies.
Qualification & Experience
- TVET or Diploma in Building Electrical Installation, Metalwork, Woodwork, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant work experience in general services, maintenance, or facility management roles.
Required Skills
- Strong coordination and supervision skills
- Basic technical and maintenance knowledge
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple service tasks effectively
