Job Description
Nile Source PLC is seeking a highly competent and experienced Import Manager to oversee and manage the company’s import operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating import activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing suppliers, and supporting the company’s supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- MBA or BA Degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage import operations efficiently
- Ensure compliance with import regulations and customs requirements
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents
- Monitor shipment schedules and resolve import-related issues
- Prepare import documentation and reports
- Optimize import costs and timelines
- Support management with import strategy and planning
