Job Description
Job SummaryMega Lab PLC is looking for a qualified and experienced Lab Services Director to lead and manage laboratory operations and clinical workflows. The position will oversee service quality, regulatory compliance, laboratory staff performance, diagnostic equipment, and strategic development of laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage day-to-day operations and clinical workflows of the laboratory services department.
- Ensure compliance with national regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality-control frameworks.
- Lead, mentor, supervise, and evaluate laboratory staff to improve team performance and service delivery.
- Oversee procurement, maintenance, and technical calibration of advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, budget management, and laboratory service expansion.
- Support continuous improvement of laboratory quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
