Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and factory production equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and implement appropriate corrective measures.
• Monitor machinery performance and recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
• Supervise the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain technical documentation, maintenance reports, and equipment records.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
• Support process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing production efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections and performance assessments of mechanical equipment.
• Assist in machinery upgrades and maintenance planning.
• Participate in troubleshooting and emergency maintenance activities when required.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Previous experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment is mandatory.
• Experience in industrial maintenance and production operations is highly desirable.

Technical Competencies

• Strong understanding of industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and industrial safety standards.
