Job Description
An employer is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical design, technical drafting, fabrication, and equipment development activities.
This opportunity is suitable for recent graduates and early-career professionals with knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and proficiency in CAD software. The successful candidate will assist in preparing technical drawings, developing 3D models, reviewing designs, and coordinating with engineering and production teams.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
0–1 year of relevant experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, CATIA, and SolidWorks.
Skills in mechanical drafting, 2D technical drawings, and 3D modeling.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, machine components, and engineering principles.
Ability to prepare assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Understanding of manufacturing processes, material selection, and dimensional tolerances.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
Ability to learn quickly, explain complex ideas clearly, and work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
Assist with mechanical design, fabrication, and equipment development.
Review engineering drawings for accuracy and compliance with design requirements.
Prepare technical documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to maintain design quality.
Support mechanical engineering activities as assigned.

Monthly Salary: ETB 13,000
