Job Description
Job SummaryThe Hunger Project Ethiopia is seeking a motivated MEL Database Intern (Female Only) to support monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) database management and data-related activities. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in data management, research, and information systems within an international NGO.
Key Responsibilities
- Support MEL database management and data entry activities.
- Assist in organizing, updating, and maintaining project databases.
- Support data collection, verification, and quality assurance processes.
- Assist with field research data management and reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidential records.
- Support the MEL team with routine administrative and reporting tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in MEAL, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
Requirements:
- Understanding of data management and field research.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- University recommendation letter confirming integrity, reliability, and responsibility.
