Job Description
Job SummaryDoctors Alliance General Hospital (DAGH) is inviting qualified, competent, and motivated NICU Nurses to join its healthcare team.The successful candidate will provide specialized nursing care to newborns requiring intensive and specialized care, while maintaining high standards of patient safety, infection prevention, and teamwork in a high-pressure clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and compassionate nursing care to newborns in the NICU.
- Monitor vital signs and closely observe patients' clinical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to medical orders and nursing protocols.
- Assist with neonatal procedures and emergency interventions as required.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and nursing documentation.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
- Identify and promptly report changes in newborns' conditions.
- Support the use and monitoring of neonatal equipment.
- Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide appropriate communication and support to parents and caregivers.
- Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
- Work effectively under pressure in a critical-care environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Diploma or BSc in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
- Previous experience working in a NICU is preferred.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical nursing skills.
- Knowledge of neonatal and acute care.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration.
