Job Summary

The Packaging Operator will ensure safety in daily operations and execute process and product-related tasks according to established standards. The role focuses on safe equipment operation, quality and food safety, environmental practices, performance improvement, and reducing production losses.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, environmental, food safety, 5S, housekeeping, and HACCP standards.
• Identify and report safety risks, unsafe conditions, and unsafe behaviors.
• Safely start up and shut down equipment and operate packaging machines according to established standards.
• Perform quality and food safety checks and identify quality issues in the assigned area.
• Participate in improvement activities to prevent quality issues and reduce operational losses.
• Clean and disinfect equipment according to applicable standards, SOPs, and CILT requirements.
• Execute tagging, de-tagging, CILT activities, and basic problem-solving processes.
• Use available digital tools to report shift handovers, downtime, and performance information.
• Identify water, energy, material, and other operational losses and suggest solutions.
• Participate in TPM and other improvement activities related to safety, quality, environment, and performance.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on simple packaging machines according to standards.
• Capture and interpret performance data and take corrective actions when required.
• Maintain documentation and reporting for the assigned working area.
• Operate equipment according to production demand and seasonality while ensuring On Time In Full delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience, preferably in beverage or logistics operations/shop-floor environments.
• Ability to follow safety, quality, environmental, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work with packaging equipment and perform basic operational tasks.
• Willingness to participate in continuous improvement activities.
