Job Description
Job SummaryThe Principal System & Database Officer will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, security, efficiency, and continuous improvement of the Bank's production and disaster recovery data center environments. The role will oversee data center infrastructure, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), and provide technical leadership to Data Center Administrators.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and ensure the availability and reliability of Production and Disaster Recovery Datacenter Sites.
- Ensure data center infrastructure is secure, redundant, efficient, and up to date.
- Lead the management, standardization, and design of Data Center Infrastructure Architecture.
- Develop strategies to address complex data center infrastructure challenges.
- Ensure data center services meet business requirements and operational plans.
- Follow up on the smooth operation of data center and disaster recovery facility devices.
- Monitor the operation of Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI).
- Coach and mentor Data Center Administrators.
- Support continuous improvement of data center systems and infrastructure.
Qualifications & Experience
🎓 Education:
MSc, MA, BSc, or BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
💼 Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the banking industry.
- At least 2 years as a Senior System & Database Officer or equivalent position.
