Procurement Officer : Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH)

Main Responsibilities

• Assess procurement needs and prepare procurement plans.
• Prepare RFQs, bid documents, ToRs, specifications, and other procurement documents.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, bids, and proformas.
• Prepare bid comparisons, evaluation reports, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate terms.
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Monitor purchase orders, contracts, and deliveries.
• Ensure delivered goods/services meet approved specifications.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Prepare weekly and periodic procurement reports.
• Ensure compliance with EIH and applicable government procurement procedures.

🎓 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Knowledge of government procurement procedures.
• Experience in tendering, bid evaluation, supplier management, and contract administration is preferred.
• Strong procurement and tender-management skills.
• Good analytical and negotiation skills.
• Strong vendor and contract-management abilities.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ERP systems.
• High attention to detail and integrity.
