Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Financial Analytics & Reporting

• Consolidate and analyze financial data across multiple projects.
• Track budget utilization, commitments, and expenditures.
• Prepare financial dashboards, performance briefs, and analytical reports.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for resource optimization.

Budget Monitoring & Compliance

• Track project expenditures against approved budgets and work plans.
• Ensure compliance with government and donor financial regulations.
• Support quarterly, biannual, and annual financial reviews.

Resource Planning & Forecasting

• Support multi-year resource planning and budgeting processes.
• Conduct scenario-based financial modeling.
• Provide cost-effectiveness and value-for-money analysis.

Capacity Building & Advisory Support

• Train project finance teams on financial reporting and expenditure tracking.
• Provide guidance on financial analysis and resource allocation decisions.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with internal teams and stakeholders to improve reporting systems.
• Support leadership and project managers with performance insights.

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

• Finance
• Accounting
• Economics
• Development Finance
• Or related field

Experience

• 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree
• 4 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree
• Experience in financial analytics, expenditure monitoring, or resource management
• Experience with multi-donor projects, government budgeting, or compliance reporting is an advantage
