Job Description
The Risk & Compliance Officer ensures that the organization complies with financial, regulatory, and internal standards, mitigates operational risks, and monitors the application of internal controls.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor compliance with microfinance regulations, internal policies, and financial laws.
- Conduct risk assessments and design risk mitigation strategies.
- Review internal controls and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Assist in preparing operational and financial compliance reports.
- Provide guidance to staff on compliance and risk management best practices.
- Support audits and regulatory inspections.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Basic knowledge of KYC principles and branch operations.
- Proficiency in financial management and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel and Word mandatory).
Qualifications & Experience:
- BA Degree/Level IV in Accounting, Management, or related field.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience.
