Job Description
Rope Technology PLC is seeking motivated, reliable, and fluent language speakers to join its team as Outbound Call Agents for a short-term project.
The company is recruiting native Afaan Oromoo and Tigrigna speakers who can also communicate fluently in Amharic. Successful applicants will conduct outbound phone calls, collect information from respondents, and complete questionnaires over the phone.
This is a remote contract opportunity, with initial office-based training required.
Available Positions
1. Afaan Oromoo Speaking Outbound Call Agents
Number of Vacancies: 20
Language Requirement: Native Afaan Oromoo speaker
Additional Language: Fluent in Amharic
2. Tigrigna Speaking Outbound Call Agents
Number of Vacancies: 10
Language Requirement: Native Tigrigna speaker
Additional Language: Fluent in Amharic
Job Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be a native Afaan Oromoo or Tigrigna speaker, depending on the position.
Be fluent in Amharic to communicate effectively with the team.
Have completed Grade 12 or hold a Bachelor's degree. Fresh graduates are welcome.
Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Be motivated, reliable, and professional.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outbound phone calls to respondents.
Collect information by completing questionnaires over the phone.
Communicate professionally and accurately with respondents.
Ensure information is collected clearly and correctly.
Required Equipment
Applicants must have their own:
Personal computer (desktop or laptop).
Working headset.
Reliable internet or Wi-Fi connection.
Important Note About Remote Work
Although the position is remote, selected agents must report to the company's office for initial training. They may also be required to attend the office whenever requested by their supervisor for meetings, communication, or other work-related purposes.
