Job Description
RAMA Technologies develops Endless HaHu, an animated educational app designed to help young children learn to read and write Amharic Fidel. The company is hiring three School Account Managers to introduce and expand the use of the app among kindergartens across Addis Ababa.
Job Summary
This is a field sales and school engagement role focused on identifying kindergartens, building relationships with school directors, introducing Endless HaHu, activating KG classes, and supporting parent subscriptions.
The role requires frequent field visits and direct engagement with schools, education offices, teachers, and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a list of schools within assigned sub-cities.
- Obtain recommendation letters from woreda education offices.
- Cold-call school directors and arrange appointments.
- Present Endless HaHu to school directors.
- Activate the app in KG classes.
- Conduct parent information and subscription sessions at schools.
- Help parents subscribe to Endless HaHu.
- Train KG teachers on using the product.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of participating schools.
- Submit accurate daily reports through the company platform.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Fluent in Amharic and able to use English for reporting.
- Strong ability to build trust and relationships with school directors.
- Experience selling to schools is a strong advantage.
- Former teachers, vice-directors, and education officers are welcome to apply.
- Comfortable demonstrating an application using a tablet.
- Persistent and able to handle rejection and closed doors.
- Honest and committed to accurate reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Gross monthly salary: ETB 19,686
- Performance pay: Up to ETB 5,000/month based on written KPIs
- Commission: ETB 125 per subscribing parent, with no ceiling
- School growth bonus: ETB 1,000 when a school reaches 10 paying parents
- School growth bonus: ETB 2,500 when a school reaches 30 paying parents
- Typical monthly earnings: ETB 27,000–39,000
- Transport and communication allowance
- Tablet with the full product
- Full training provided
Example: 50 parent subscriptions in one month—approximately four schools with 12–13 parents each—could result in total earnings of around ETB 32,000.
