Job Description
The Secretary / Administrative Assistant will ensure smooth daily operations, manage correspondence, appointments, and office organization. This role requires professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to support management and other departments efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Communication
- Answer and direct phone calls professionally.
- Manage emails and handle correspondence.
Scheduling
Organize appointments, meetings, and interviews for management.
Documentation
- Develop and maintain filing systems (digital and hard copy).
- Type and format reports, letters, and other documents.
Reception
Welcome visitors and direct them appropriately.
Office Management
- Monitor office supplies and place orders.
- Coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
Support
Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
Education
BA or Diploma in Secretarial Science, Office Administration, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 3 years as a secretary or administrative assistant.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office equipment (printers, scanners).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Language
Excellent written and verbal communication in Amharic and English.
