Job Description
ALETA Chartered, Certified Accountants and Authorized Auditors is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Auditor to lead and execute audit engagements in accordance with professional standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning audits, supervising teams, and providing technical guidance to ensure audit quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed audit plans, scope, and objectives based on risk assessments.
- Perform financial, operational, and compliance audits.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct audit fieldwork including data analysis, document reviews, and interviews.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive audit working papers.
- Draft audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Present audit results to management and discuss corrective action plans.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior auditors.
- Review audit work for accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Provide technical guidance on accounting and auditing standards.
Qualification & Experience
- BA or MA Degree in Accounting and Finance
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Senior Accountant or Senior Auditor
