Job Description
ATTA Trading PLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the structural execution of high-rise commercial and residential projects. The role involves managing vertical concrete frame construction, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and building codes, coordinating consultants, and delivering projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the vertical concrete frame construction phase of high-rise building projects.
- Ensure all structural works comply with Ethiopian Building Code Standards (EBCS), project specifications, and approved engineering designs.
- Supervise structural steel reinforcement, formwork systems, concrete works, and related construction activities.
- Act as the company's primary technical representative on-site.
- Lead weekly project progress meetings and coordinate with consultants and stakeholders.
- Review design variations and secure approved work permits before construction activities.
- Monitor project quality, safety, timelines, and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with construction regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology & Management (COTM), Structural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Experience: Minimum 12 years and a maximum of 15 years of relevant experience in building construction projects.
Professional Requirement:
Applicants must hold an active registration as either a Professional Engineer (PE) or an Associate Professional Engineer with the Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure (MoUI).
