Job Description
Mary Joy Ethiopia is looking for an experienced Short Code Marketing Specialist to lead mobile-based marketing initiatives and subscriber acquisition campaigns. The role focuses on leveraging SMS platforms, analytics, and telecom partnerships to enhance outreach and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute short code marketing and SMS-based subscriber acquisition campaigns.
- Manage mobile engagement platforms and analyze campaign performance.
- Track, evaluate, and optimize SMS marketing effectiveness using analytics tools.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaigns on time.
- Prepare performance reports and insights for management review.
- Ensure compliance with relevant telecom and data usage standards.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in short code marketing or mobile subscriber acquisition.
- Strong understanding of SMS platforms, mobile engagement tools, and analytics.
- Familiarity with the local telecom environment is an added advantage.
