African Lakes Ethiopia PLC is inviting qualified recent TVET graduates to apply for the Trainee Technician (Machinery) position within its Product Support (Machinery) Department.

African Lakes Ethiopia PLC was established in 1961 under the name AMROPA Motors Limited. Since its establishment, the company has served as the representative of Ford Motor Company in Ethiopia and was initially owned by the Swiss Group AMROPA Motors, which was later acquired by African Lakes.

Job Summary

The company is seeking recent graduates from TVET Colleges for the 2025/26 academic year to join its Product Support (Machinery) Department following successful completion of the Trainee Technician program.

Candidates should have one of the specified technical qualifications, hold the required CoC certification, and have successfully completed an internship.

Qualifications

Applicants must be TVET College Level IV or V graduates with CoC certification in one of the following fields:

• Automotive Technology
• Electrical and Electronic Equipment Servicing
• Industrial Electrical and Electronics Control Technology
• Heavy Duty Equipment Maintenance

Experience

• Fresh graduates with 0 years of work experience are eligible.
• Practical skills gained through internship experience are required/preferred.
