Van Driver (FMCG) - Lovegrass Agro Processing PLC

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the logistics and sales teams in executing daily distribution plans.
• Drive the company van safely and efficiently during sales and delivery activities.
• Transport sales staff and products to assigned city routes.
• Assist the sales team with loading, unloading, and handling of goods.
• Issue official sales receipts to customers upon delivery and ensure proper documentation.
• Collect payments where applicable and submit receipts and cash to the responsible office/personnel.
• Support sales staff with necessary operational tasks during field activities.
• Ensure timely delivery of products to customers and sales points.
• Maintain cleanliness and conduct basic safety checks of the vehicle.
• Report vehicle, delivery, or receipt-related issues promptly.
• Comply with traffic laws, company procedures, and financial control guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of Grade 10/12 completed.
• Valid 3rd Level or “Derek” Driver’s License or above.
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience in FMCG or delivery operations.
• Good knowledge of Addis Ababa routes and surrounding areas.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
• Ability to work closely with a sales team.
• Physically fit and willing to assist with field support tasks.
• Basic numeracy skills and ability to issue and handle receipts accurately.
