Job Description
Job SummaryThe Welder/General Mechanic will perform welding, fabrication, mechanical maintenance, and general workshop activities. Candidates with strong experience in Arc Welding and TIG Welding and general manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Arc and TIG welding activities.
- Carry out fabrication and mechanical workshop tasks.
- Support installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Perform general mechanical repair and maintenance.
- Inspect welding and fabrication work for quality.
- Read and interpret basic technical drawings where required.
- Maintain welding tools and workshop equipment.
- Follow workplace safety and operational procedures.
- Support manufacturing and project teams.
- Perform other mechanical and welding duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Certificate or above in General Mechanics, General Metal Fabrication and Assembly (GM/GMFA), or related field.
Experience:
- More than 2 years of relevant experience.
Required Skills
- Experience in general manufacturing.
- High skill in Arc Welding.
- High skill in TIG Welding.
- Mechanical maintenance and fabrication skills.
- Strong attention to safety and quality.
