Key Responsibilities

• Collect checks and/or cash against official receipts and ensure timely bank deposits.
• Safeguard collected cash and confidential financial documents in the safe box.
• Distribute checks upon verification of approved documentation and signatures.
• Notify suppliers when payments are ready for collection.
• Assist with cash register data entry and maintain updated balances.
• Maintain systematic filing of vouchers, ledgers, reports, and financial records.
• Label and organize financial document folders properly.
• Scan financial documents and upload to SharePoint.
• Collect bank advice, statements, and correspondence.
• File bank advice with related vouchers accurately.
• Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Education

BA Degree or Diploma in Accounting and Finance

Experience

Fresh graduate (Zero years of experience required)

Technical Skills

• Basic accounting knowledge
• Strong organizational and filing skills
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer literacy

Language Requirements

• Fluency in Amharic
• Good command of English
