Job Description
OLY Technologies is looking for a creative and skilled Graphic Designer to join its team in Addis Ababa. The successful candidate will develop visually appealing designs for print and digital media while maintaining brand consistency and collaborating with marketing, production teams, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts and layouts for brochures, packaging, posters, banners, social media graphics, and other digital and print materials.
- Maintain consistent use of the company’s brand identity across projects.
- Create and finalize designs using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Use CorelDRAW for design and production requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing, production teams, and clients to meet design requirements.
- Stay updated with current graphic design trends and introduce innovative ideas.
- Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.
- Participate in client or printing facility visits when required.
- Use OLY’s ERP system to manage design tasks and provide project updates.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Certificate or relevant graphic design qualification.
- Experience: 2–3 years of professional graphic design experience, particularly in the printing and packaging industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and CorelDRAW.
- Knowledge of printing processes and packaging materials.
- Strong creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
Working Conditions
- Office-based position in Bole, Addis Ababa.
- Occasional off-site visits to clients or printing facilities may be required.
- Full-time working hours, with flexibility for additional hours during peak periods.
