Job Description
Job SummaryMega Store PLC is seeking an experienced Head of Accounts Receivable and Sales to oversee the full accounts receivable cycle while supporting sales order processing, customer credit management, collections, contract documentation, and revenue recognition. The position will monitor receivables performance and provide management with accurate collection and ageing reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete accounts receivable cycle, including:
- Customer invoicing
- Ageing analysis
- Customer statements
- Account reconciliation
- Set and monitor customer credit limits and payment terms in coordination with Sales and Finance.
- Lead collection follow-up and escalate overdue accounts, including legal referral when necessary.
- Oversee sales order processing and contract documentation.
- Support accurate revenue recognition and related financial processes.
- Monitor customer balances and identify collection risks.
- Prepare and report DSO, collection rate, and receivable ageing through the PMS dashboard.
- Strengthen customer account reconciliation and collection procedures.
- Work closely with sales and finance teams to improve cash collection and receivables performance.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelorβs Degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong experience in accounts receivable, credit management, collections, and financial reporting.
- Experience coordinating with sales teams and managing customer accounts is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and credit management.
- Excellent understanding of invoicing, reconciliation, and ageing analysis.
- Strong collection and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of customer credit limits and payment terms.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to monitor DSO and collection performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with Finance and Sales teams.
