Job Description
Job SummaryThe HR Officer will assist with the day-to-day administration and implementation of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, HRIS, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee records, and general HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment and staffing activities.
- Assist with the recruitment and interview process.
- Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by departments.
- Support performance management and performance improvement tracking systems.
- Assist with employee orientation, development, and training.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with employee relations activities.
- Support company-wide employee communication.
- Assist with compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping.
- Maintain employee files and HR filing systems, both electronic and hard copy.
- Assist with the efficient day-to-day operation of the HR office.
- Assist with processing employee terminations.
- Update HR spreadsheets and employee data based on approved employee change requests.
- Assist in preparing performance review forms.
- Perform other duties assigned by the HR Director.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- BA Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Relevant fields may include Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of similar work experience.
- Previous experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or in a relevant HR/administrative position is required.
Required Skills
- HR and administrative experience.
- PC literacy, particularly MS Office.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS/HRMS.
- Basic knowledge of labor laws.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good recordkeeping and attention to detail.
