Job Description

Job SummaryThe HR Officer will assist with the day-to-day administration and implementation of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, HRIS, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee records, and general HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment and staffing activities.
  • Assist with the recruitment and interview process.
  • Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by departments.
  • Support performance management and performance improvement tracking systems.
  • Assist with employee orientation, development, and training.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with employee relations activities.
  • Support company-wide employee communication.
  • Assist with compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain employee files and HR filing systems, both electronic and hard copy.
  • Assist with the efficient day-to-day operation of the HR office.
  • Assist with processing employee terminations.
  • Update HR spreadsheets and employee data based on approved employee change requests.
  • Assist in preparing performance review forms.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the HR Director.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • BA Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Relevant fields may include Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of similar work experience.
  • Previous experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or in a relevant HR/administrative position is required.

Required Skills

  • HR and administrative experience.
  • PC literacy, particularly MS Office.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS/HRMS.
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good recordkeeping and attention to detail.
