Job Description

IT Support Officer responsible for provides first and second-level technical support to users, ensures smooth operation of computer systems, networks, printers, and email services.

Key Responsibilities

A. User & Help desk Support

  • Provide daily technical support to staff
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Install and configure operating systems
  • Maintain IT asset inventory

B. Networking Support

  • Assist in LAN/WAN troubleshooting
  • Configure switches and routers
  • Support DNS, DHCP, and IP management

C. Printing & Peripheral Support

  • Install and manage network printers
  • Troubleshoot printer connectivity issues
  • Coordinate maintenance with vendors

D. Email & Account Administration

  • Configure and manage email accounts
  • Manage user accounts and permissions
  • Handle password resets and access issues

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in IT support
  • CCNA certification (Required)
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals
  • Experience supporting Windows environments

Additional Competencies

  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
