Job Description
IT Support Officer responsible for provides first and second-level technical support to users, ensures smooth operation of computer systems, networks, printers, and email services.
Key Responsibilities
A. User & Help desk Support
- Provide daily technical support to staff
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Install and configure operating systems
- Maintain IT asset inventory
B. Networking Support
- Assist in LAN/WAN troubleshooting
- Configure switches and routers
- Support DNS, DHCP, and IP management
C. Printing & Peripheral Support
- Install and manage network printers
- Troubleshoot printer connectivity issues
- Coordinate maintenance with vendors
D. Email & Account Administration
- Configure and manage email accounts
- Manage user accounts and permissions
- Handle password resets and access issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs Degree in IT or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in IT support
- CCNA certification (Required)
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Experience supporting Windows environments
Additional Competencies
- Strong customer service orientation
- Good communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
