Junior Battery Charging Technician – Dodai Manufacturing PLC

Key Responsibilities

Battery Charging & Operations

• Safely receive, handle, connect, and charge batteries using designated charging units.
• Monitor charging progress and ensure batteries are charged according to required procedures.
• Separate and organize charged, uncharged, and faulty batteries.
• Conduct basic visual inspections to identify damaged or unsafe batteries.
• Maintain accurate records of battery movement, charging status, and operational issues.
• Keep the charging facility clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Report faults, incidents, or abnormal battery behavior to the supervisor.
• Support daily operations to ensure smooth battery flow to swap stations.

Safety Responsibilities

• Strictly follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Handle batteries safely and according to established procedures.
• Immediately report damaged batteries, safety risks, and incidents.
• Follow emergency procedures related to fire, overheating, or battery failure.
• Participate in safety briefings and training.

Other Responsibilities

• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• TVET, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields are preferred.

Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience in operations, warehouse, technical, or related roles.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Working Conditions

• Work will be based at a battery charging hub.
• The position requires standing, lifting, and repetitive handling of batteries.
• Shift work may be required, including work on holidays.
