Power BI Developer II – Kerchanshe Trading Company

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and design scalable Power BI solutions.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Build ETL/data pipelines using Power Query, Dataflows, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools.
• Integrate data from ERP systems, internal applications, spreadsheets, and third-party sources.
• Design efficient data models and DAX measures for accurate reporting.
• Optimize dataset performance, refresh schedules, and query efficiency.
• Implement data governance, documentation, and Power BI workspace management.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security through row-level access controls.
• Conduct testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and ongoing system support.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
• Mentor junior BI developers and provide Power BI training to end users.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems
  • Data Analytics
  • Statistics
  • Related fields

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Power BI development or Business Intelligence roles.
• Experience integrating ERP systems, custom applications, and spreadsheet-based data sources is highly preferred.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate
• Microsoft Power BI Certification
• Other relevant BI/Data Analytics certifications

Required Skills

• Advanced Power BI development (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, dashboards).
• SQL and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Data warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts.
• ERP data integration (Dynamics 365 FO, Business Central, or similar).
• ETL development and data pipeline management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail and adaptability.
