Job Description

The Production Planning Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. The role is key to maintaining smooth production flow and timely order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning

  • Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans
  • Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging, and inputs
  • Monitor production performance against plans and adjust as needed
  • Coordinate with procurement and quality teams to avoid delays

Warehouse & Inventory Control

  • Maintain accurate records of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
  • Ensure proper storage and handling using FIFO and company standards
  • Conduct regular stock counts and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, and compliance
  • Prepare inventory and warehouse activity reports

Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams
  • Track incoming shipments and ensure proper recording
  • Report on production variances, material usage, and wastage
  • Support process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Management, Accounting, or related field

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in production planning, inventory control, or warehouse management
  • Experience in food manufacturing is preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of production processes and warehouse systems
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar is an advantage)
