Job Description
Safaricom Ethiopia is recruiting a Software Engineer – Fintech Integration to develop scalable, cloud-ready and microservice-based solutions.
Required Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year coding experience outside university.
- Strong Java development experience.
- Spring Boot, Spring, Spring MVC, JEE, Maven and Spring Cloud.
- API, web services and message queue integration.
- Strong microservices architecture knowledge.
- Relational databases: MySQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Docker and Kubernetes/container technologies.
- REST and SOAP APIs.
- Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Automated testing including JUnit/SonarQube.
Knowledge of C#, Golang, Jenkins, JMeter, Git, GitOps and DevOps is an advantage.
