Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and update the Project Health and Safety Plan
• Identify construction-related hazards and associated risks
• Conduct risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and recommend appropriate control measures
• Carry out daily site safety inspections
• Ensure compliance with approved safety procedures and safe work methods
• Stop unsafe work practices and issue corrective actions when necessary
• Provide safety induction training for new workers and site visitors
• Promote safety awareness and safe behavior among workers and subcontractors
• Ensure availability and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Prepare accident and incident reports and recommend preventive measures
• Coordinate emergency response and first aid arrangements
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualification and Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Building Construction
• Minimum of 3 years and above relevant experience as a Safety Engineer
