Senior Software Developer - Minaye PLC

The successful candidate will bridge business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that internal systems are scalable, secure, efficient, and reliable. The ideal applicant will have a strong software engineering background and practical experience customizing ERP modules while developing web applications from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules based on business requirements.

Customize existing Odoo workflows, modules, and reports.

Design and build robust web-based applications to support internal business operations.

Integrate in-house applications with existing databases and ERP systems.

Develop APIs and connectors to integrate Odoo with third-party services and legacy systems.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in line with software development best practices.

Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

Optimize database queries and maintain data integrity across PostgreSQL and other database systems.

Troubleshoot software issues, resolve bugs, and conduct root cause analysis for system failures.

Provide technical support for escalated system issues.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation for software solutions and system architectures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Educational Requirements

A bachelor's degree in any of the following fields is required:

Computer Science

Software Engineering

Information Technology (IT)

A related field

Professional Experience

At least 3 years of professional software development experience.

Hands-on experience with Odoo or another major ERP system, such as SAP or Oracle, is essential.

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in Python and other web development languages.

Experience developing and customizing ERP modules and workflows.

Ability to develop web applications and integrate them with databases and external systems.

Knowledge of PostgreSQL and database query optimization.

Experience developing APIs and system integrations.

Strong coding, debugging, testing, and documentation skills.
