Team Leader – Readvertisement | Marie Stopes International Ethiopia (MSIE)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily team operations and ensure achievement of project goals and objectives.
• Provide guidance, supervision, and support to team members.
• Promote a collaborative, productive, and professional working environment.
• Ensure implementation of quality standards, policies, and service-delivery protocols.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, challenges, and improvement strategies.
• Monitor team performance using established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Provide constructive feedback and support continuous staff development.
• Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Coordinate with other departments, stakeholders, and relevant partners to ensure effective collaboration.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on team performance and project outcomes to the Area Program Manager.
• Identify challenges affecting team effectiveness and service delivery and support appropriate solutions.
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of project goals and objectives.
• Ensure program implementation is aligned with MSIE protocols and donor requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of service quality and team performance.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as:

• Health
• Social Sciences
• Management
• Or another related discipline

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in team management, project coordination, and service delivery is an advantage.
• Experience with quality assurance and performance monitoring is desirable.

Language Requirement

Proficiency in Afan Oromo is mandatory.
