Job SummaryAmigos SACCO Ltd. is seeking an energetic Junior Accountant to support financial operations, transaction processing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Process member transactions accurately and issue official receipts.
- Enter financial data into ERP/Core Banking systems.
- Conduct daily reconciliations and maintain audit readiness.
- Prepare balance sheets, trial balances, and performance reports.
- Open and maintain member accounts.
- Respond to member financial inquiries.
- Educate members about products and digital services.
- Support savings and deposit mobilization.
- Participate in marketing and community outreach activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 0–2 years of core accounting experience in financial institutions.
