Job Description
Job SummaryThe Accountant will be responsible for supporting the company’s accounting and financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring effective financial management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
- Prepare financial statements and periodic financial reports.
- Perform account reconciliations and verify financial documents.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial planning.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies.
- Provide financial information and reports to management when required.
- Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and applicable regulations.
- Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in a transport and logistics company is an added advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and reporting abilities.
