Job Description
DosiMed Testing Laboratories is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Biomedical Engineer to join our laboratory team in Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate must hold a B.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Female applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
- Support technical teams in equipment performance assessment and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and equipment status updates.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to facilitate smooth operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the lab.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic laboratory environment.
- Prior internship or experience in a biomedical or clinical setting is an advantage (not required).
Working Hours
Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM (LT)
Saturday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (LT)
