Key Responsibilities

Risk Assessment & Compliance

• Conduct compliance reviews and identify control gaps
• Develop monitoring tools and improve internal systems
• Prepare reports with recommendations for process improvement
• Ensure alignment with donor and organizational policies

Audit & Liaison

• Serve as focal point for internal and external audits
• Coordinate audit preparation and follow-up actions
• Ensure closure of audit findings and prevent recurrence

Capacity Building

• Identify skill gaps and organize training programs
• Develop training materials and support staff development
• Orient new staff on systems and procedures

Food & Commodity Management

• Monitor shipment, delivery, and distribution of commodities
• Track vessel status and ensure timely clearance
• Handle claims for shortages or damages
• Maintain inventory accuracy and reporting

Coordination & Operations

• Work with logistics, warehouse teams, and partners
• Support field teams and ensure proper documentation
• Maintain strong working relationships across departments

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Agriculture, Natural Resources, Rural Development, or related field
• Master’s Degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum 8 years relevant experience, preferably in NGOs
• Experience with RFSA programs is highly preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Excellent coordination and multitasking ability
• Strong computer skills (MS Office)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High integrity and professionalism

Language

Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
