Job Description

This is a Chief Trading & Agribusiness Officer role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding markets, strengthening brand positioning, and improving customer experience across the company’s subsidiaries.The role works closely with the Group CEO and executive leadership team to develop commercial strategies and oversee group-wide sales and marketing performance.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the group’s commercial strategy aligned with corporate goals.
  • Advise executive leadership on market opportunities, growth strategies, and commercial risks.
  • Lead revenue growth initiatives across all subsidiaries.

Sales Performance Management

  • Lead group-wide sales planning and target setting.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and sales achievements across business units.
  • Ensure effective coordination between subsidiaries.

Brand & Marketing Strategy

  • Lead brand development and marketing positioning.
  • Ensure consistent communication and brand messaging across the organization.
  • Strengthen the company’s market presence and visibility.

Customer Experience Management

  • Establish customer experience frameworks and service quality standards.
  • Develop feedback systems to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Promote a strong customer-focused culture across teams.

Commercial Governance

  • Oversee pricing policies, discount practices, and credit management.
  • Ensure ethical and compliant sales practices across the organization.

Business Performance & Insights

  • Analyse commercial performance trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Present insights and reports to executive leadership and the board.

Talent & Capability Development

  • Build strong sales and marketing teams across subsidiaries.
  • Develop commercial talent pipelines and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field
  • Master’s Degree or MBA preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 12 years of progressive commercial experience
  • At least 7 years in senior commercial leadership roles

  • Strong experience in sales management and marketing strategy
