About Development for Peace Organization (DPO)

Development for Peace Organization (DPO) is seeking an experienced, motivated, and qualified professional to join its team as a Communication and Resource Mobilization Manager.

The CRM Manager will be responsible for strengthening relationships with government institutions, donors, partners, and other stakeholders to support fundraising and successful implementation of DPO's programs.

The position will also provide leadership in communications, resource mobilization, proposal development, donor engagement, public relations, and organizational visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Resource Mobilization & Donor Engagement

• Work closely with stakeholders to collect donor intelligence and conduct donor mapping.
• Maintain donor trackers, planners, and resource mobilization monitoring systems.
• Analyze unsuccessful proposals and identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
• Work with program teams to identify funding gaps and develop marketable concept notes.
• Support the development of concept papers, full proposals, and budgets.
• Ensure high-quality proposal development and internal review processes.
• Coordinate the involvement of HR, Procurement, IT, Finance, Operations, and Program teams in proposal development.
• Coordinate Go/No-Go processes for potential funding opportunities.
• Maintain and upgrade donor databases, proposal tracking systems, and resource rosters.

Communication & Public Relations

• Develop and improve communication procedures.
• Develop and implement organizational communication plans.
• Strengthen and maintain DPO's brand and public image.
• Manage DPO's social media platforms.
• Monitor and report on communication performance metrics.
• Produce annual reports, publications, and other communication materials.
• Manage media relations and organize media events.
• Develop key messages, press releases, statements, and background materials.
• Support donor and partner communications.
• Write content for websites, newsletters, social media, speeches, editorials, and other communication channels.
• Organize public engagement events.
• Represent DPO at public events when required.

Team & Coordination

• Coordinate communications and resource mobilization activities across relevant teams.
• Work with MEAL and Communications teams to develop external presentations and marketing materials.
• Supervise interns and volunteers when required.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Global Director General.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in:
  • Journalism and Communication
  • International Relations
  • English Language and Literature
  • or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of progressive professional experience in communication, fundraising, or resource mobilization.
• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership position.
