Compliance Officer – Coca-Cola Ethiopia

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quarterly risk assessments and follow up on risk mitigation actions.
• Ensure timely closure of risk action plans.
• Coordinate and review Control Self-Assessment (CSA) activities.
• Conduct monthly CSA reviews and prepare consolidated reports.
• Perform sample testing of CSA activities to verify objectivity.
• Monitor compliance with statutory requirements and identify potential compliance vulnerabilities.
• Conduct periodic compliance tests against company policies, procedures, standards, rules, and regulations.
• Review company policies and recommend necessary updates.
• Create awareness of changes to laws, regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Conduct periodic internal control reviews.
• Identify control gaps and recommend procedures to address them.
• Follow up on internal and external audit action plans and ensure timely closure.
• Support effective risk, compliance, and internal control practices across the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field.
