Job Description

PAVE Logistics is seeking a Customer Service Officer (Logistics & Forwarding) to serve as the key liaison between clients and the operational transit team. The role focuses on ensuring timely cargo movement, transparent communication, and exceptional customer service while meeting strict logistics lead-time KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Transit & Shipment Follow-Up

  • Track shipments from registration to container release.
  • Ensure all cargo movements meet defined market service lead times.

Client Communication

  • Provide daily shipment updates via Email, WeChat, and Phone.
  • Proactively communicate delays and operational issues to clients.

Import & Export Coordination

  • Receive export shipping instructions (SI).
  • Coordinate seal/container collection with shipping lines.
  • Ensure trucks meet vessel schedules.

Data & Documentation Management

  • Accurately record all transactions in the PAVE Database.
  • Dispatch original Bills of Lading to Djibouti before vessel arrival.
  • Track document movement across branches.

Fleet & Operations Monitoring

  • Ensure loading is completed within the maximum 3-day window.
  • Follow up with drivers and operations staff.

Financial Coordination

  • Confirm detention charges with clients.
  • Report arrival and departure delays to the finance team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Customer Service within Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Transit.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and meet strict KPIs.
  • High proficiency in database systems and digital communication tools (Email, WeChat).
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
