DevOps Engineer-Arif Pay

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for reliable software releases.
• Improve build speed, deployment processes, and overall release quality.
• Automate repetitive operational and development workflows.

Infrastructure & Deployments

• Manage and deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Support containerized applications and deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Maintain reliable and consistent deployment environments.

Cloud & Operations

• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure and resources.
• Ensure development, staging, and production environments are secure, consistent, and scalable.
• Support day-to-day infrastructure and operational requirements.

Monitoring & Reliability

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
• Provide incident support and implement corrective and preventive measures.

Security & Best Practices

• Apply security best practices across infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage secrets and access controls using appropriate tools.
• Help maintain secure and compliant deployment environments.

Collaboration

• Work closely with developers and engineering teams to streamline workflows.
• Improve system observability and operational efficiency.
• Support engineering teams in adopting reliable deployment practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working with a major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of Docker.
• Experience with Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and security groups/firewalls.
• Proficiency in relevant scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Sentry, or similar solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with security scanning, including SAST, DAST, or dependency scanning.
• Knowledge of service meshes or advanced Kubernetes operations.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience working with data infrastructure.
