Position Summary

The successful candidates will work within the Kindergarten/Early Years environment, supporting young learners through engaging, age-appropriate, and holistic learning experiences.

Depending on qualifications and expertise, educators may contribute to Early Years teaching, English, Amharic, Afan Oromo, Computing, Physical Education, Life Skills, and classroom support.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for young children.
• Support children’s academic, social, emotional, physical, and character development.
• Develop foundational language, numeracy, communication, and digital skills.
• Support creative, physical, and play-based learning activities.
• Promote positive classroom behavior, confidence, independence, and teamwork.
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and the wider academic team.
• Maintain a safe, caring, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Support extracurricular and school-wide activities where appropriate.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or recognized teaching qualification.

Experience

• Experience working with Kindergarten/Early Years learners.
• International-school experience is an advantage.
