Job Summary

EthioChicken is seeking a qualified Electrician to support electrical installation, equipment maintenance, repair, and related maintenance activities.

The successful candidate will help ensure reliable operation of electrical systems, generators, pumps, cooling systems, and other equipment while following appropriate workplace safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation and maintenance activities.
• Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct maintenance of generators and electrical pumps.
• Maintain cooling systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
• Support machine maintenance activities.
• Assist with repair and maintenance of plumbing systems where required.
• Follow appropriate safety precautions during maintenance work.
• Identify equipment problems and support timely corrective action.
• Maintain a safe and functional working environment.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

Education:

• 10+3
• Diploma
• Level III and above
• Electrical Technology
• Electrical Industrial Control & Drive
• Other related electrical fields

Experience:

• Diploma: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Functional knowledge of electrical installation systems.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance.
• Experience with generators and electrical pumps.
• Knowledge of cooling systems and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing system repair.
• Understanding of maintenance safety precautions.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
