Job Description

The Event Coordinator will support the smooth planning, organization, and execution of events hosted at Sowirad Hotel. This role involves assisting clients from the initial inquiry stage through event completion, ensuring all arrangements — including hall setup, catering coordination, logistics, and on-site support — run efficiently and professionally.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with inquiries, hall viewings, and booking details.
  • Coordinate event timelines, floor plans, and all event requirements.
  • Work closely with the Event Manager, hall staff, kitchen team, and vendors.
  • Support the setup of event hall arrangements (tables, décor, stage setup, etc.).
  • Confirm catering orders and ensure menu details are accurate.
  • Be present during events to assist guests and quickly handle issues.
  • Maintain communication with clients before and during events.
  • Oversee checklists, schedules, and event-day logistics.
  • Ensure the hall is well-prepared before each event and properly closed afterward.

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
  • Knowledge of catering or banquet operations is an added advantage.
