Job Description
The Factory Director will lead and oversee all aspects of glass bottle manufacturing to ensure efficient production, high-quality output, cost control, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The role drives operational excellence, minimizes downtime, and ensures the factory achieves its strategic growth and sustainability goals.
Educational Requirements:
- BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Additional training in glass manufacturing processes and OSHA compliance
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and process optimization
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years in manufacturing operations and production management
- At least 6 years in managerial positions within glass production (batching, melting, forming, annealing, inspection, packaging)
Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., SAP ERP)
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA safety and environmental compliance
- Strong leadership, workforce management, and financial control skills
- Problem-solving and crisis management abilities
- Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement
