Job Description
The Finance Director will develop strategies, policies, and procedures for the Finance and Accounting Department. The role involves planning, organizing, and directing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Educational Requirements:
BA or MA in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 7 years for BA or 4 years for MA degree in relevant finance roles
At least 2 years in supervisory or managerial positions
Desirable Skills:
- Leadership skills and emotional intelligence
- Strategic thinking and planning
- Strong knowledge of internal control systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of tax laws and accounting standards
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Amharic and English
