Job Summary

The Hunger Project Ethiopia is seeking a motivated Finance Intern (Female Only) to support the finance team in accounting and financial administration activities. The internship offers recent graduates and final-year students an opportunity to gain practical experience in financial operations within an international non-profit organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping and financial record management.
• Support the preparation and organization of financial documents.
• Help maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems.
• Assist with data entry and reconciliation tasks.
• Support the finance team with administrative and reporting activities.
• Handle financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance.

Requirements:

• Understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
• Letter of recommendation from a university confirming the applicant's integrity, reliability, and sense of responsibility.
